Do you prefer working with brass or stainless?
-
Brass is child's play compared to Stainless Steel. The thermal properties of SS are very different than brass and SS requires a mud like flux that the solder is floated under. The solder is very high temperature 56% silver and very hard when cooled. Going back to brass after we did 11 SS bodies is very relaxing.

Jack,
Most builds going forward will probably be brass. From a production standpoint it is quite easier and quicker to work with. SS won't be out of the question either. It all hinges on what the customer desires and is willing to commission.G&H Customs
