    Desert Fox Bolts

    In the before times, but no more than 5 years ago, someone had new delrin bolt tips machined for the Desert Fox. Does anyone recall who this was? I definitely need one for a Fox I picked up last year with a broken bolt tip.

    (Pics for clarification once I figure out why Imgur won't let me upload photos...)

    While I'm at it and MCBers be looking, anyone have:
    - ICD Desert Fox vertical ASA
    - ICD raised sight rails
    - ICD chunky bottomline ASA block
    - Jcurt/RTR upright M16 grip frames

          You must be the guy then! I thought they were composite as it'd be easier to machine and would be like what was on 3 of my 4 Desert Fox bolts - the earliest one had a metal tip.

          So is it a flush venturi, round hole with recessed venturi or cloverleaf with recessed venturi? Nevermind, message inbound.

                    I sent the ones I had, broken and not, to Mike Casady. He made the CAD, and I commissioned the shop he used to make me a bunch. We chose aluminum, so we didn't run into the same breakage issue...

                      I should probably get enough for my entire Desert Fox quartet so I never run into a broken composite bolt tip again...

                      Thanks for having these made though it certainly wasn't a profitable venture! Hopefully, this new-era MCB post will drum up even more sales for the random DF owner that comes through or searches.

                              Yeah, it's definitely different from the Before Times. I tried logging in after the reboot but failed (luckily my autopay subscription kept me in the system!). Today was my first time finally logging back in and things are a bit busy/less intuitive on the messages and profile pages. I think I like the comments within posts now instead of quoting and replying a dozen posts later.
