Is there any functional difference between a Gen 1 Puma vs Gen 2 Puma?

I am calling those without the milled tab between the top and bottom body pieces Gen 2. These look to have required less milling than Gen 1.

Besides the smaller front hanger, that only allowed for a 9 under the barrel as opposed to the 12oz on the gen 1, and the bodys being milled in batches of tops and bottoms unlike the gen1 which was milled from the same billet of aluminum. I believe the internals are all the same.
