1/16 tighten them a lil at a time, alternating sides and be careful not to over tighten them. Make sure the pierce pin assembly and changer body are tight to each other when screwing in the body screws.

I have some loose hex wrenches. I thought were 1/16". Its just big enough big enough to touch sides but not getting any purchase. I'll look into thanks! 👍🏻
Both of mine are 1/16 but if you just picked up a new one that’s a different run then the ones I have. They could have gone with larger grub screws on the latest run. I always wanted to drill and tap two more so it would mount in 4 spots instead of just two I feel like it would mount a lot more secure. But two work fine just feel like it would be that much more secure. Those lil grub screws can strip easy if you are not careful.
Its important they stay tight otherwise the body of the changer will drop down a lil bit and the changers lever and bucket won’t have the throw it needs to hit the piercing pin.
I have two of the ICD changers they Rock! I have put a bulk box of 12g threw mine (about 500) over the past few seasons. Only issue I had was that body screws loosening up on me. Quick fix I used a very little light hold lock tight on mine and haven’t had an issue since. But I have tossed around the idea of adding two more mounting grub screws.
I love mine so much I got two of them just so I don’t have to pull it apart to put the stock piece on and off. I run mine on my Phantoms Vert ASA. It’s so quick and they work great. I play a lot of stock class during open play rec and the ICD changers are a life saver.
