Found a BKO, now to get it running!

I recently picked up an old ICD BKO. No box or barrel, but it intrigued me because of the aftermarket grip frame and front end parts so I thought it might be a fun project.
It has an AKA volumizer and a PPS LPR, along with the unknown to me 90degree grip frame. I pulled the gun apart the best I could, replaced a few orings, swapped the ever ready 9v from 2007 (that somehow hadn’t leaked) for a fresh Energizer, and put some air to it.
To my absolute amazement, it cycles. FAST. But there is a leak out of the front of the LPR that I can’t figure out. It appears to be coming out around the adjustment screw, but I’m not confident enough to pull it apart any further to diagnose or correct.

It also came with an Eggy 2, that was in AWFUL condition, and I’m trying to rehab it too, but it isn’t looking as promising. Click image for larger version

That's an OTB (Off The Break) 90° frame! Very tall, a bit awkward, very much fun. Nice find, the BKO was my first electro and I have a soft spot for them.

I have a ton of Eggy parts you would be welcome to for cost of shipping.

I may take you up on that, if the plastic holds together through cleaning.

I was wondering how it could get any taller, then I saw the Evo II pic.

Back in the day, BKOs were known as Poor Man's Angels.
          Very nice find.
I had one way back when... I took it to the extreme.
It had PDS on it (a second switch) and Vapor did some work on the inside of it.
I put an AKA reg on it and nice Dye grips with a CP ASA.
Sold it to a friend's boy who wanted a marker and I think he got it stolen.
It was a little sewing machine that was fun to take out and not really worry about getting it beat up.
Hope you have some fun with yours.

If you want to keep it period correct, CP, Dye Broomstick (or maybe UL) or Freak

After talking to Myrkul a bit, I have a PPS rebuild kit on the way to try to fix the leak there.

I actually got the Eggy cleaned up and working too, so that was a nice surprise. Battery door is Fd, but it runs well!

The full rebuild kit is the way to go for sure this many years down the line! Especially with how annoying those rocks are to get apart, just full rebuild and call it done so you aren't chasing down a different leak every time you take it out. Oh, and blue loctite it back together so that 15 years from now when it needs to be rebuilt again you won't need to break the torch back out 😂

Well, all it took was a year, and my wife going on a work trip for me to get this thing running!
I pulled it apart completely, replaced every o-ring that I could find, and rebuilt the LPR with a palmers kit.
after a tweak to the connectors on the board , thanks Myrkul for that tip, it stays on when firing! Now I need more air and some paint for a shooting video.
Also, randomly came across an eVLution 3 so I figured I’d stick with the TALL theme on this gun.
