Bushmaster 2000 bad noid or board?

I just picked up a pretty clean x-mill B2K off fleabay except it's having issues shooting. The noid wouldn't click when I first got it. After I broke it down, replaced all the orings, and cleaning/lubing the noid it shot about a dozen or so shots then just kinda petered out. Cleaned the noid again and no change. Now the noid just faintly clicks and sometimes it'll let off a shot but it's not consistant. My thoughts are either a capacitor went bad on the board or the coil went bad on the solenoid. Any thoughts? Is it possible for me to hook up a spare Promaster board to rule out the board being bad?

Follow up question. It has the 8200 series board with the little blue trim pot. What does the trim pot do?

    Thanks for reading.

The parker noids are rated for millions of cycles. It is highly unlikely the coil is bad on the noid.

I'd double check the battery first, then the regs, then suspect the board. I "think" you can stick a promaster board in there no problem, but you might need to use the promaster trigger switch for testing it.

Update: It was the battery. Apparently my testing battery had been run down more than I thought. It's cycling as it should now. Now for the mystery of the trim pot.

The pot adjusts contrast on the LCD screen, if you have an LCD screen.

I do not have the LCD so that would explain why it doesn't do anything. Thanks!
