Hey fellas, I got this B2K in a lot the other day, and I have never owned one in my life. I'd like a positive id of it's type, features, etc. I *think* it's a Generation 10 B2K/ B2K2.5, and may have the PDS eye system. Other than that, is there a rebuild guide for these things? I wouldn't mind rebuilding this blocky thing and getting her running again.

B2k4 with stock board, PDS, and most wonderfully, a Zenitram PPS Micro Rock LPR adapter (obviously a micro rock too).
I'd be curious to see the valve and bolt in these, I bet they are upgraded as well.

Well, did a tear down this weekend just to see what's inside this thing. Ran into a few snags, so I figure this is the place to ask questions. As far as what valve it has, I forgot to take a pic but it looks like the standard one with a single oring which matched a picture I found online.
First, the bolt. It took Thor strength to yank the pull pin out of the bolt, because the metal ball holding it in had completely rusted in place. Once I got it out I polished that ball up and oiled it, so now it's easy. The bolt has three air ports on the front, but looks unremarkable to me so not sure if it's just the stock one. I'm amazed at how rough the bolt feels riding inside the body, even after I completely cleaned out the upper body.
Second, the ram. I could not get the steel ram head unscrewed from the stem. Not sure if this thing is red loctited together or what, so that put a stop to disassembly there. Is that typically something they used loctite on from the factory?
Third, the Palmers LPR. I have no idea how to fully disassemble this thing. I can unscrew the front adjuster screw of course, but the rest of it.. I looked for a manual or guide, but it was always a different model of Palmer's LPR. How do you take this thing apart to service it?
Fourth, the Valve Stem seal disintegrated when I took it out, so that will definitely have to be ordered.
Lastly, I saw ICD just this year still had rebuild kits for these, but now they are out of stock. Is that something they continue to make occasionally, like AGD does with their parts, or are these just gone forever?

I believe that’s a shocktech superfly bolt
and yes all hammers come with red loctite between it and the shaft. Get yourself a small torch and cook it till you see smoke ( 350* F is the burn off temp for almost all loctite). I usually like to rotate it to get it to heat up evenly all around.

I think that is a Shocktech bolt, and unfortunately they are garbage. They are too light, and get massive amounts of blowby. I always struggled to even hit field velocity with them. I'd track down a stock bolt on eBay to use instead.
Yep, ram is red loctited from the factory.
The LPR is just a micro rock that is screwed into the Zenitram sleeve. I'd throw a strap wrench on the front and unscrew it that way. Once it's out of the sleeve, it's just a normal rock rebuild process. Docfire has seals.

They are out of regulator seats which is why they pulled the rebuild kits. There is a member here that still makes the reg seats, but honestly ICD regs are iffy at best anyway. I would just rebuild the rock LPR and toss any other HPR on this and call it good. The 2k4s are nice because they come stock with a standard vert ASA adapter.

Dude, I appreciate your input! I know you’re kind of the Jedi master of these things, so I’ll definitely be referencing your info here and in other post you’ve made. My own specialty is Automag RT Classics, so this Bushy and the cocker I got with it are like trying to learn Japanese! -
Idk about Jedi, more like necromancer, there are plies of these things around all in non-working condition because no one ever bother to sink the work in, but I appreciate it! These are definitely entirely different beast then automags, the differences in the tolerances from gun to gun are going to drive you nuts, but the good news is the design is robust enough that the somewhat iffy tolerances don't matter and can be cleaned up with sandpaper and a drill 9.9 times out of 10.
