05 freestyle

So I bought an 05 freestyle that’s been the bane of my existence, after fixing multiple leaks and the gun apart many times, I have a little rubber check valve left over. Seeing a listing for a new solenoid I see it in the pics. But for the life of me I can’t figure out where it goes.

its definetly not the ball detent right?

That’s what I first thought but they are plastic with springs and the exact little check valve can be seen in the pics with replacement solenoid on eBay

That's just an extra nub that falls out of the solenoid gasket. They stamp the gasket, and that piece doesn't always fall out of the gasket. You're good to go without it. It's just trash

I was gonna say, I don't know if I've ever come across one and I've had 10s of Freestyles apart.
