    Thunder/Alley Cat foam forend replacement

Anyone got any leads for one of these or a suitable facsimile? My Alley Cat's is missing and feels rather incomplete without it. I know I could probably just get some pipe insulation or something but I'd rather have the real deal or as close to it as possible. I've checked the usual places but with no luck.

    Thanks for your time.

Jackson has a sick procarb like grip on thingiverse made specifically for cats. I've printed myself a few, and I love them.

Id suggest printing yourself one if you have the means. I recommend TPU.

I may also have a piece of foam from a stock barrel in the dungeon. But that shits getting dry, and is liable to tear honestly.

That's totally something I'd try if I had my own printer. Maybe someday.

Id be willing to churn out for ya eventually. Not in a hurry to do so, but eventually.

I might have to take you up on that offer. I'll shoot you a PM sometime.

IIRC the foam on the barrel was Bicycle Handle Bar grip foam.

I figured I'd update this. I went ahead and finally got a printer and printed the forend. Turned out great! I printed it in PLA+ more or less as an experiement to see how it holds up. Planning on re-doing it in ABS eventually once it probably fails. Looks like it belongs on the ol' Alley Cat.

Nice. I love that others are printing and enjoying it.
