    PRP Help

Need help tracking down a Pin. So I was working on my PRP to replace the Cup seal. Got that all sorted but when I put the marker back together every pump would let a big burst of air out. Eventually seizing. The pin that holds the Sear in snapped somehow. I don’t even know. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated 👍🏼

ICD is still in business, it could be worth contacting them and telling them about your situation. Apparently they sometimes supply replacement parts at request

They don't have a ton of PRP parts left, I'd be shocked if they have extra hammers but I could be wrong.

I've had issues with that pin snapping too. I replaced mine with a very slightly larger one that I had chopped to the correct length, then, to keep it from sliding out, I used finishing nails and a hammer on either side of the pin to flare the ends out a bit so it wouldn't slide out (if it slides it can scratch up your top tube very quickly). It looks like the right hand side of your hammer is cracked, so this entire operation should be done VERY delicately... You don't want that crack getting worse, but it should be OKish as long as one side is still secure enough to hold the pin in place. Finally, it's very important to use fine sand paper over that area of the hammer to ensure everything is smooth.
