Macro fitting leak

I picked up a used Hornet recently. The first time I took it out, all was good. I just aired it up and it has a leak where the macro fitting connects to the regulator. These fittings do not have wrench flats on them. What is the best way to tighten the fittings? I hate strap wrenches, but is that the best way?

There should be an internal hex that you can use a hex key on.
