AKA Spyder parts comparability w/ PMI Piranha?

Will the AKA Spyder valve, Lightning bolt, and rear cocking beavertail work on the PMI Piranha G2/G3's? Pretty certain the valve will be fine but mostly curious about the bolt/beavertail. These Piranhas are rear cocking. Maybe the bolt/rod but not beavertail?

It's a good question. Someone else will chime in about this. I've not done up one of my Piranhas with AKA bits so I'm unsure. Time is a precious commodity for me these days but if I've some freed up I'll mock one up with the bits and let you know.

does the PMI piranha's have the bolt that always sits flush with the rear of the marker?
also the bottom line fittings are a different thread. the pistol grip has a notch/hump where the lower tube meets the grip. the asa uses inline bolts while the spyder is staggered. the valve pin and valve body are different as well.

probably, only the barrel will swap between them. This is only from what i remember though. haven't really dove into this recently.

I did find some old post where a guy wa listing out his upgrades on a Piranha, mentioned the valve. Which I think is more useful than a bolt. So that made me curious about the other things.

The flush cocking bolt was an option, but not all Piranhas had this.

I'm pretty sure they're mostly compatible. I have a spyder 2000 and some old piranha. When I get some time, I'll tear into them. I'm 99% certain that PMI never ditched the fatty striker, unlike Kingman did. But otherwise, I think they share most parts.

for some reason i thought the valve pin was MUCH smaller...
and metric fittings vs npt or sae. but again this is me trying to remember.

Ok, so I don't know about the G2/G3, but I'm tearing apart and cleaning my old-school power feed piranha right now, and it looks like basically everything is compatible. The valves are the same size, striker and bolt too.

The only oddities I'm seeing are:
              1. The bolt pin to striker linkage is thinner than Spyders. So if you swap the bolt, your going to have to swap the striker as well.

              2. It's a fatty striker.

              3. The trigger frame has two raised parts that sit inside the body. This would prevent the use of piranha frames on Kingman bodies, but the smooth tops of Kingman frames should work on piranha bodies.

              Hopefully that helps.
