I just payed over $100 for an old Spyder!

Listing title was “AKALMP Pistol Grip Long Barrel Paintball Gun” on GW.

Alright who was it? I know I just won a bid against someone on here. We both saw some sweet rare parts on this thing. The auction listing was a gem old long detent cover Spyder with some rare bits including a benchmark trigger frame. If you’re like me, I have my fingers crossed for rare internals the way it looks outside! Still can’t believe the auction went so high. Us few Spyder collectors are driving up prices, lol.

The wife is gonna kill me.

I was watching it but forgot all about it. I checked its status a bit ago and saw it already sold. Glad it went to somebody here

Lol, the FB crowd is driving spyder prices through the roof right now. Those guys are so hungry for rare parts that they absolutely throw money at this sort of stuff.

It seriously make me consider selling some of my stuff to capitalize on the antics.

I think I said it somewhere on the board not long ago, "Spyder prices to the moon!".

Nice! It’s easier to post photos than I can remember. These are from the original listing.

Anyone know what AKALMP means? Can anyone name some parts they see already?!

AKA is the company name. LMP stands for Leads Metal Products. Leads Metal Products did the work. If you look through old PB magazines you'll notice the AKA part missing. Through time it has been AKA, AKAPP, and AKALMP.

It looks like a Taso lpc to me.

yeah, was thinking of using one of my many grey bodies, slapping an AKA beaver tail and side plate on and posting up on ebay.
                          they are the cheapest bit...

AKALMP stands for Aaron K. Alexander LEADS Metal Products. Aaron was the main force behind the their paintball line, as the core business was always a machine shop. LEADS stands for Larry, Eileen and Daughters & Sons. The paintball like was originally AKAPP which stood for AKA Performance Products, but was changed to AKALMP fairly quickly.
