    scottieb's 2021 Spyder-a-month: June - Mr. Consistency, dual Stabilizers

Here is the Spyder for the month of June.

I'm honoring pghp8ntballer this month as he was the winner (and sole participant) of the guess the bits game last month. I bought the Millennium body from him some time back. The valve retaining hole was drilled out much larger in it and rethreaded. I used the opportunity to drill out the air passage between the top and bottom tube allowing more air flow to the bolt. I had to custom make a new short threaded piece to keep the valve in place. It works a treat!

On the inside, this one has AKA bits as well as the rear cocking cage and cocking slot cover on the outside. Kit's horizontal adapter sits up front under an OTP barrel rethreaded for Spyders. There is a NOS RVA and I'm unsure of the maker, however it's one of my favorite styles. On the driver's side there is a brass Autococker detent with Sharpie mod. All this sits on a single trigger Bob Long frame with Hogue palm swell grip panels. The two Stabilizers were fitted for maximum consistency.

You should totally over kill this.... run a sideline stab between the female and the male, then run an HPA tank on it. 4 regs FTW.

But seriously, this looks very nice.

Duckbill with a Sideline Stab on each side with stainless hoses running to a tap on each side of the body in front of the valve?

You know I never read the whole bit at the top of this thread. I was wondering what happened to that millennium body.... Glad you made some good use of the valve screw repair to port the air passage!

Do you think it’s actually more consistent? I’ve always liked the idea of dual HPRs but I did that to an eNMey and I can’t tell any difference lol

If there is a difference, then the difference is minute. My reason for this build was to compare the consistency of dual Stabilizers to a single AKA Sidewinder, with all other variables being the same. Multiple ten shot firings with both setups are indistinguishable from each other. Tests were done with HPA however with co2 I imagine the Stabilizers may have an edge.
