    Winter project #1 - strikers

    I really need to be doing something right now to keep my mind and spirit well. This project should provide just the thing through the upcoming winter months.

    This is about half of them. I plan to customize them, lighten them, and polish them.

                This is the winter where I attempt a group of custom original Spyders. Only 20+ years late!

                I'll do speed holes in a good many of them as it's quick and easy to do.

                Some will get a good amount of material at the middle taken off ending up like this: I----I

                I'll also see about cupping the face in mimicry of Otter's bolts.

                Some will get it all done to them.

                And then there's a few special things I'll try.

                    do those fatty strikers fit my bob long millennium? I'd buy a lightened, polished version. I am try to get my blm to run on liquid co2 and it won't go lower than 330 fps , so a lighter striker might be the ticket!

                        All Millenniums take fatty strikers. I'll keep you informed of when I get to them.

                                    I am still going through boxes and bins. I have found some more but I know I still have more to find. When I compile a whole lot, then we'll get started with the actual work on these.

                                    I do have three of Otter's slim strikers with the cupped face. I may try to replicate that and see what happens. That does seem like a lot of work for a little gain though.
