Working thru some blowbacks and running into Kingman electronics. I know there's some guru here that has squirreled away all this nonsense. Come forward, please? There's a few decent electro stbb here that future owners would be forever grateful.

First off, that’s definitely not a Kingman Spyder at all. I think it’s a Diablo Mongoose 2 or some other STBB that had multiple iterations. So if you were looking for a manual online by searching Spyder stuff, that would be causing an issue.

Yes that is the Diablo mongoose LED version and guessing by your photos I'm going to say Sears not dropping when you pull the trigger most likely that's because you have a normal battery in there this thing's absolutely require a 9.6 and even then sometimes it's not good enough

Yeah, I have a mongoose 2 that's been a dumpster fire

Brand new board
Brand New 9.6v
Replaced the new capacitor with a new one anyway

Still not strong enough to drop the sear

Just a heads up, if the eye is turned on it won’t trip the sear unless there is a paintball in the chamber. You won’t even hear it clicking and trying when you pull the trigger. I’ve bought some of these “broken” before and that’s all it was

Easiest way to test is to leave the bolt forward, don't reset it, then see if the noid clicks. Or you know jam a finger in there and test the spring strength, should pinch quite hard

A 9v can cycle the bolt under spring strength but they don't last long, and even less so when the gun is gassed up.

From the pics I didn't see any immediate bulging from the cap so it's probably good. Any bulging at all, even the tiniest amount, means it is bad.

Thanks guys, found some rechargeable 9.6v on Amazon so will see if those happen to give this guy enough juice 👍
