Was this ANS Spyder bolt also designed to fit autocockers?

I'm looking at this ANS bolt for sale on eBay and I'm wondering- was this same part also meant to be used on an autococker? It has the normal fixed Spyder bolt linkage pin going downwards to link up with the hammer, but why is there also a hole perpindicular to that pin on the rear of the bolt with a springloaded ball bearing retainer? How would that be useful to a Spyder?

That hole is for a right side cocking knob. Depending on which Spyder it was, that could be your only way to cock the marker in some cases. It will not work on an Autococker without extensive modifications.

No, there is not any cross compatibility

Look at how a Spyder AMG cocks. I think that’s what it’s for

          Ah, that makes sense now.
I've never owned a Spyder with a cocking knob that fit into the bolt like that.
