    Lever action Hammer7

Hi everyone I've been working on this for about a year and a half and made a functional Lever action hammer7 that is FS compatible. This is a prototype and i do plan to redo this to make it look more professional.

Here is a video of it shooting.

    Good things:
the layout of the original hammer7 allowed me to keep everything stock w/o irreversible mods. If i want a pump again i just have to swap frames and im g2g

I fixed the magazines. The spyder mags are like 90% functional from the factory. For some reason their lock/lock needs to be fully depressed to feed. This is fine for round ball but fs rounds tend to flip or jam. I 3D printed some new mag locks that fully open sooner when placed in the magwell and now i reliably feed both roundball and fs

The trigger. For this build a didn't want to hack up a trigger or make a complicated trigger system. I ended up making a slide trigger that pulls a 3d printed lever that resembles the old trigger. This way i retain the ability to use the autotrigger.

Doesn't burp. The hammer7 used to burp sometimes when you cocked it. I moved the firing assembly back slightly (probably about .100") and the burp is gone and there was no noticeable performance difference

      Bad things:
I forgot to round the edges before printing. Easy fix

The slide trigger blocks a grip frame mounting screw. I think i know how ill fix this

The way I mount my on/off asa is jank and I will fix it.

Doesn't flip cock. I think my center of mass is all types of messed up and i don't think I can fix that.

I've already broken and redesigned the levers 4 times. I think I've fixed the issue but i may just have to machine these and make mount them slightly different

I'm not good at 3d printing. Bad layers warping wonky tolerances I've got it all. I will improve it's just a long painful process

Layer Lab on Facebook was making lever kits for Hammer 7s a while back, but I haven’t checked on them lately. He sent me a replacement part for mine a couple years back when some cracking issues popped up.

might be another source for inspiration for you though. Best of luck with the build
