What is this?

A coworker wants to sell this. It's a Spyder clone, it actually works, and it's got some cool body milling, that's about all I know. I definitely don't need another spyder and more expired tanks but I'm sure it's probably gonna be added to the stash anyway. So what is it, and what should I offer more than $20?

Diablo Mongoose.

Value can be tough to pinpoint, there are a ton of cheap blowback spyder clones in the early 2000’s, so $20-$30 is probably relatively close.

It's a Diablo Mongoose II. Probably one of the best/niftiest of the STBB Spyder clones. If the grips aren't cracked, the detent isn't jammed, and it powers on/fires it's probably $50+ to the right person (or should be!) but I've been out of the loop for a few years, and if he's not going to put work into selling it's fine to offer lower. I think these had 20BPS LCD boards in them and the machining and anodizing is top tier for lower end guns (or maybe any gun really, these are great!). If I was collecting cheaper stuff from the early 2000s this would be high on the list. There is a red/black fade version out there, too. Also, you never see them with stock barrels still included.
