I can see why they changed it
But, I forgot to update this thread. I got it shooting. I used some gasket material, I think it's around 70 duro, if anyone needs to also do this I would advise you to try 90duro if possible.
The other really critical aspect was a leather hole punch. I tried punching the holes with drill bits first and it completely didn't work. Not enough air coming through. Once I made the holes with the leather punch it worked great
