    CF20 Mags and Brittle Paint

With the PE springs and followers, the Dye DAM mags are supposed to be able to use any paint. Do the CF20 mags need thick shelled paint, or can it also use brittle paint?

Definitely can't use tourney paint in CF20s but I think it can get away with more than typical winter/field grade paint. Mid grade is probably what you can expect to shoot without issue. It's just the nature of having a 20rd continuous feed spring for both roundball and fsr.

I haven't used any magfed guns (and I've used a few) that tolerate brittle paint unless it's super humid out. Even then I'd stay away.

I have found the cf20 mags to handle paint well.
I would not use a particularly brittle ball but I have used Graffiti with no issues.
