Just picked up a load of gear including a Tacamo X7 Phenom mag kit. Came with 5 round head Milsig mags and a RAP4 box mag. I haven’t put the x7 phenom guts into but is there anything I should know about this setup? Things to watch out for or known problems?

I love mine. I opted to get the T15 mag adapter and run Gen 1 t15 magazines.
I have Helix mags but for some reason FSR constantly jam at the neck of the mag, the nipple of the FSR jams into the top front of the mag. Tried a bunch of things to stop this behavior but switching to T15 mags for FSR it now runs perfectly.
For ball it runs superb. For FSR I did do some polishing to get everything super smooth.
The Lok-Bolt is a must, helps a lot and lets you know when you are empty. The FSR bolt is helpful if you want to run FSR all the time.
Since it is clamshell just be aware of things when you tighten the barrel. I actually loosened the barrel adapter in the body causing the barrel to misalign leading to all sorts of weird things, like the most god awful accuracy ever! You want to tighten the body screws so they are well snug but don't crank on them, too loose and you can do what I did. Just be relatively gentle It's a tank, it'll live.
Because I just like nice things for no reason, I also got the Ape board and trigger for it. I had an electronic grip already but it died, and replacements and trying to fix it didn't work. I like it, being able to shoot full auto is just fun, but not necessary at all.

finally got around to getting the X-7 into the Tacamo body and threw the box mag on for fun. Also realized I don’t need the cyclone air fitting. So is that port plugged I imagine? I’ll need to look through my parts and find it. I’ve looked into the snag style mag well as well, but need to make a decision. On whether I’m keeping it or selling it
