I only have the original ones, but my buddies with both have said they won't probably buy more of the pro's. They don't like the clip on them versus the lock of the original. When grabbing them, they have pulled the clip loose. I'm really happy with the CF20's I have. They work great and I actually think I prefer the straight design instead of curved pros.

What clip? I've never even handled the pros
And yeah I think I prefer the straight design as well

The front covers clip over the back of the mag at the end instead of the lock mechanism that the old mags have. So it snaps on basically. But they all said they have pulled them off while grabbing mags out of the vest. We actually talked about this Saturday. The consensus was that the old mags could be grabbed any way you could and it was fine, but the the new mags have that clip where it is possible to unclip it while changing mags.
They all prefer the lock on the front of the mags and no clip. You may not care but these guys have played magfed a long time and all seemed to agree that they like the CF20's better. I was just cheap and needed bulk mags so I bought the older (cheaper) ones, but it sounds like I did the right thing.

Awesome, thank you for the input

I slightly prefer the pro mags. I like the mag release of the emf200 more than the emf100. I also like the shape of the pro mags as it's easier to make sure the mag is facing the right direction when inserting into the marker. I wouldn't complain if I had to use the normal cf-20's though.
