If I recall correctly, Vector barrels are quite large for today's paint. Can the Vector barrels take wedgits? Or.... would that that just damage the barrel without accomplishing any thing?

You only need wedgits to position the ball on a closed bolt gun... so they really wouldn't do anything on a Vector.
You could ask Palmers nicely if they'd make you a barrel, but it likely won't be cheap. -
The vector barrel has the "hook" on the bottom to attach to the front of the frame.
Also, its a solid 1" aluminium ... Wedgeits would probably damage it.
But, most importantly: Why?
The Vector has a a really nice wire detent ... I use mine regularly (its my main semi) and i never have a problem.
Yes its overbore, but that does not affect accuracy in any ways ...

Yeah, just a wire detent. If you need a new barrel, I probably have a few kicking around. But the wire detent has never failed me.I am the admin...Comment

100% what he said. My vector is my main semi and I have never had a roll out issue due to the wire detent.

Jordan, well duh. I basically had three Grail guns i wanted when paintball found me again. These were Vector, Desert Fox, and Stroker/Typhoon. I now have at least one of each of these.

Thanks guys. At this point you may realize that I have yet to field any of my Vectors. This explains my lack of knowledge a out the effectiveness of its detent. However, I think one of my canons has seen field time by the guy who rebuilt it for me. I am going to ask if he will show me how to put together the disassembled, but apparently fully intact and in new condition Vector.

Two of those are my Grail guns as well. I currently have a Hurricane, still looking for a (model C) Vector and (98) Fox.

I believe you have already seen that Hobbes has a Vector for sale. It's quite possibly a C.

Vectors are easy to maintain ...
the barrel come off with a button and the front shroud has 4 screws ...
the main problem you'll find is the LP hose slipping off ... It has no barb or anything to hold it in place.Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...
