Spyder E trigger on Piranha mod

For all 3 of you wondering if you can use a Spyder E trigger on a Piranha. Yes you can. The Spyder trigger is raised in the center so it must be shaved down. Around the sear you can't shave any off (unless you don't care about the screws holding the solenoid shave away! ) so that area you have to take away from the body to sit flush.
Next issue is the trigger adjustment screw sits against the body. Easiest thing to do it leave the screw off, I'm not reusing this body so I tried to see if leaving the screw functional was optional by taking more off the body and it's not, so ether leave the screw out, grind it down to the trigger adjustment you like or replace with an allen head set screw. Mounting holes are different the rear can be left alone but will need a shorter screw or washer cause the trigger frame is thinner front one just need to be elongated to fit the piranha bolt holes.

Out of curiosity, what was your reason for doing all this work?

I use Tapatalk which does NOT display comments. If you want me to see it, make it a post not a comment.

In all honesty.......I wanted a chrome trigger frame. Also having the electric trigger with different firing modes over the plastic mechanical is so much more enjoyable it was worth spending $20 on the electric trigger and 30mins with a Dremel
