    Mokal mirages playable today?

I have a chance to grab a mirage at a pawn shop for $30. Seems in ok shape. Kinda want to rescue it but I don't know if I will ever use it. I can't test fire with air but it seems to work. Can these be moved to run with today's paint and hpa? I never even seen one before so how do they feel on the field? Parts and upgrades?

Should work with air. very easy to disassemble. there are 2 types, one with a threaded barrel and one with a slip-fit/thumb screw. They were work horses.

It's got the thumb screw. Don't know if that's bad or good though.

You can probably offload it here for what you pay if it turns out you don’t like it. Id go for it, cheap enough for some s&g’s. I love old blowbacks tho

I have no idea which barrel it has. Stock most likely. Looks clean. Rollouts will be an issue almost certainly. Reddit says the barrel is too thin to freak bore too

Edit. It has the thumb screw barrel.

I can’t speak to the Mirage, but I have an old Titan that’s a blast to shoot, and I know ChuckLove enjoys his Fokus

Snag it at $30. You’ll get the help you need to get it up and running from the MCB Wizards

I'm trying to limit my buying of old useless guns. It's bad enough my automags sit nearly unused because every event seems to forsake them that I go to. My vm68s get more use than them and that's kinda sad and that's only because the are stbb. No one ever has event for inline guns. Really need to get a vintage event going. Let those old odd guns shine!

You just missed the summer classic at Friendly Fire.... we want all the oldschool to come out. Lots of cockers, old electros (had my viking out) mags are under represented though. I usually have something oldschool everytime I go out... and a newer mech as a backup.

If an event isn't listed here I'm unlikely to know about it. No Facebook for me.

I'm thinking bigger. All those old rainmakers and odd ball guns should come out to play too.
I'm happy to do a cockers and mag day though. I think I've used my mags once each this year.

I just got one running a year ago. Someone had put a cut down spyder spring guide in it, and prolly a cut spring (can't remember), and it shoots on hpa.
