Nsg Splatmaster

My growing horde of Rapides is getting out of hand so I did the sensible thing and started buying cheap OG splatmasters. Too many some would say, not enough others would say. Idk.

Anyway who's got some hot tips for these guns? the extended figure 8 with the tippman detent is sweet but I'm not seeing the file anywhere. Can anyone send me the STL?
stuffing an xl freak bore in it is a goal.of mine. Maybe mill out around it too.
Speed knob from docs for sure.
Spring play to get velocity up.
Am I missing anything?

Splatty #1 and 2 arrived today. Both fired fire but one is clearly better than the other. Took them apart and cleaned them a touch. Problem #1 is my 10rd tubes don't fit in them because of the cap ridges. I may 3d print a cap catch that will hold the tubes in by the cap cord and effectively give me 22rd capacity. Or I find the tippman detent figure 8 STL and use that to hold 12rds.
I did look into freak barreling the stock barrel quickly but didn't make any progress. The stock barrel is really small as it is at .680 so it's kinda useable with today's paint. The detent system is so simple it's perfect so no chance of double feeding.
Why does no one cut off the little lower finger rest\guard? Seems like it's kinda useless other than getting in the way.
I stacked a few washers behind the main spring but didn't notice much velocity change. Maybe I need more.
They are pretty heavy guns. I didn't realize they are filled with lead in parts. I may pull some out to get a better weight on the gun. I'm sure you could club someone to death with it as it.
