New Nova Pump Marker

Hey,

For you non-FB users. I thought I would let you know TJ Brown (I know he is the one who assembles all the Novas, not sure his specific role there). posted this to the Nova group recently:

Yup, I spoke to Chris (owner) and TJ (tech/assembler) this last weekend and there are several markers in the works one being a pump marker no details other then one is coming.

I have no issue passing along that there is a desire for some support for the original Nova. If you are on FB it is a fairly active group and TJ is on there often.

I spoke to Chris on FB about it a while ago, and he said he just wasn't set up for that type of operation.

Considering how much is is outputting to the market, I am completely fine with that taking a back seat to new markers and products. I would be super excited to see a good entry level priced pump to be on the market.

They know people are interested in getting the old ones fixed but it would be really hard to have someone dedicate the time and if they did it would not be cheap. likely hundreds of dollars for a rebuild.

I’ll jump on a nova pump in a second. Been close to buying an N1 but I just don’t see myself playing much mech.

Been a bit since a new pump hit the market. Last notable one I can think of was the PRP.

I would still keep your eyes out for a really good deal on an N1. I am quite impressed with the one I picked up. I would be pretty curious what they did with a pump though...

My Hellion JUST arrived and now rumors of a pump in the works? Nova is reading me like a book.

When I spoke to Chris about my observations & concerns with using buna 50 durometer (70 durometer is MUCH better) with the barrel collar "O" ring on the N1 Super Nova he mentioned there was a pump gun in the works as well. He indicated that it's not going to be an entry level, and we should expect a relatively high price point for it.

I am not going to turn my nose up to a high end pump. I just figured if their top tier tournament marker is only $500, their pump would be less than that. From what I have seen though, whatever price they set their markers at, it is a lot of marker for the price tag!

Their current top tier marker is only $500. There are more markers in the works. They have to make sure people are interested before releasing a $1k+ gun.

I would say still a ways off. I spoke with Chris on the phone last night on the way home. I am putting some stuff together to send him to give an idea of what the people want.

Oh good. So I have time to buy a bunch of stuff I don't really care about, then when the pump releases, I can tell the wife I'm gonna sell a bunch of stuff to pay for the new pump.
