N3 leaking out of the box?

Anyone experience the asa lever orings fail after airing up the n3 for the first or second time? I have orings coming for it but it's weird that a gun with less than a bag of paint through it popped like that.

I inspected the orings and it looks like a burr cut the oring causing it to leak

The valve seems to stick sometimes too but that fixes itself by holding in the trigger for a second. I figure relubing it would solve that.

    Any thoughts?

I did find a burr on my N4 in the feedneck, and the whole thing was a bit squeaky out of the box, meaning probably not enough lubrication. It didn't leak though. Did it not come with o-rings though? My N4 came with a bag in the very bottom of the box that had o-rings. It appears the feeding issue I had was caused by a small piece of cardboard that had somehow made it's way into the bolt as well. I have lubed mine and taken it apart to check it and I think it works fine now.

If I had to guess they were a bit in a rush for the holidays and they didn't have alot of time to double check things. Of course, I have had similar issues before from other manufactures, my Blazer had a few things that needed attention right out of the box, and the Shocker Sport I bought brand new from Smart Parts back in the day just didn't have the o-ring on the bottom of the Max-flo. It is possible it had sat a bit and broke, but I couldn't find any remains of it so I think they just didn't include it.

Euphieā€‹ The bag of o-rings that it came with did not have the -010 needed for the asa. It also didn't come with oil. Maybe they forgot or rushed idk.

Im starting to think this gun is a refurb rather than new. Anno around the barrel had rub wear before i even put the barrel on. There was also blemishes in the anno around the dwell adjustment and a scratch around a threaded hole for the rubber grips.

      I'll probably post pictures later.

Just email or message on FB Nova Paintball, both Chris (owner) and TJ (builder) are super responsive and will take care of the issue.

I bought two N1 Novas and both leaked from a set screw on the top. I e-mailed them for support, and they shot a message right back that said "Call me" with their number. I called, and he explained that the markers may have been over tightened. He had me back off the screw a bit, and fixed it right away.

Reach out, they will take care of you for sure.

I was gonna say, this seems like the best company for customer service right now. DYE hooked it up once after a phone call but cost me $100. Just the way the owners are stoked on the new NOVA. Iā€™m not looking for a new marker but that thing sounds interesting šŸ§.

I worked on the N3 to try and fix the problem myself. it looks like the bottom line spacer was loose from the factory and the sealing oring had been cut because of it. Replaced the 010 oring, the 005 sealing oring and tightened the spacer down with an axe/mini reg tool. Everything is sealed now after airing up multiple times I'll put more paint through it tomorrow.

                Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
