so as a gift to myself I'm looking into getting a N2 or a Nova autococker. Whats everyones thoughts on the 2? Is the n2 been reliable for most people? Wait on the AC's? suggestions?

The N2 is nice and higher end. But honestly, I would get the Emek or Etha3M. Even for $499 on sale, I think you can get a nice Emek for less than that. The reliability of the PE is worth it. I think if I was going to get an autococker, I would get the Nova for the price.-------------

I recommend an Emek or Etha 3M just because I have not owned a Nova that didn't develop some sort of issue. My N3's have all had issues at one point. And I'm fairly technical, and I could never get them to work after trying the fixes suggested by Nova. I spent the money to have them all sent in(some multiple times) to get them working for a brief amount of time. I was told that my air tank was dirty and caused the N3 to clog up and stop working. Mind you, on the same tank I was using on all of my other guns and with no issues.
I so want another N3 but after my experience with the 3 I have owned, I keep talking myself out of another. The Odin worked fine but wasn't as nice as an Emek for sure. I'm just leery of them after so many issues. I just know recommending a nice 3M or Emek is going to be a good decision. I saw the sale today on the N2 and thought about it myself, and I had one in the cart. But I just can't spend that much on a gun that's not going to hold up. I love Nova and want them to succeed, but right now it's hard to recommend them.

Honestly, thats been my issue as well. I like my n4, but it it stopped working and I cannot workout why so its going to get serviced next time I'm at an event by them (I'm not paying to ship it in as I'm not playing for the next several months anyways). I was hoping the N2 had proven to be reliable and a decent choice given its capabilities as a a mechanical marker. I'm really really disappointed in hearing that the AC's are not tuned and flawed coming from them.

So what became of this? Did you get an N2?
I really love mine. When though I do have some quirks to field from time to time, it's a solid shooter. I've lent a hand for quite a bit of r&d and stuff that everyone has right now see the most up to date parts and should be performing to the best of their abilities. Since these markers are under a year old, the new thing we are working through is cold weather and grass vs oil.
Regardless, I feel like you should snag one... Black Friday sale or not.
