Nova guardian issues

So I have my reg dumping tank pressure right into my marker.I zero my reg turn it up till the gauge reads 200. Releaveall air and air it back up and it dumps tank pressure into the marker. It’s been cleaned,rebuilt, tried oil,tried grease.nova sent me a new clear piston ring said that was the issue but it still just dumps tank pressure. Sometimes it will go back to 200psi but the next time I air it up it’s 400psi anyone have the fix?

Someone mentioned the "new" spring packs are an issue where the older ones were OK. So it's a known problem.

Sadly seems to be the case for the moment. At least until they get get their issues figured out or Docfire comes up with a solution

If you're planning on literally throwing out, I might be able to pay you a little for it and use it as a gas thru foregrip or something

I bought a Guardian when it first hit the market and had the same problems. It seems like docfire might have a fix for it. Mine currently lives in a drawer.

Id take it before you trashed it. I have a guardian on my b2k and it has been fine.

Fro. Watching docfires early videos they dont like the air being slammed on. So using a pops asa per say may be contributing to the spike. I have a old school thread style on off and mine is fine

I have a knob style on/off turn it slow or fast it doesn’t work well.

BrickHaus yeah I can turn it slow enough to watch it slowly climb right past the psi I set it at. Wish videos were easier to post here.

Maybe you got a bad reg body or something. Nova has their qc issues, but they have made everything I've struggled with right. Id just ask them to replace the whole reg, and see what they say.

For what it's worth, I have a new NX-1 Sentinel Sniper Pump, played with it a few times, ran the reg through the reg tester a few times as well and everything seems to be working fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
