Got this beast by way of Still Gar and curious to learn bit more about it. I know it's a PPS semi auto over under that was built for HPA, other than that not too sure what I have here, except a big ass grin on my face!

Not sure, I'm out of air right now. I've been told to set the trigger finger to slow as it's an over under and possible to chop the first ball dropping into the lower barrel.Comment

Tbis is too cool. But that ball having to fall through the top barrel is ugly. I always figured they a feed by the top barrel into the side of the bpttom barrel.Comment

I was dreaming of feeding a double barrel with one feedneck like that and posted about it in older Mcb versions. Is that fed by one feedneck?Comment

It certainly appears to be only one feedneck. I remember back in the day Drum showed off his over/under nasty hurricane and I'm pretty sure it had two feednecks one for each barrel. Kind of odd only having one feedneck but in theory it should work.Comment

It does have only one feedneck... both balls feed from the top down.

That's a pretty specific closeup! Do you have this gun right now?
It looks like the way the detent positions the bottom ball, the top ball sits slightly back. If both bolt faces are even with each other , the top bolt should make contact first ,and cause the top ball roll upwards a bit before chambering, I think. If the top bolt face is slightly longer, that might help even more with chambering......hmm, very neat design! And I want one now!

Can't imagine the rate of fire could get very fast feeding that way. Still I like how it gets rid of an entire hopper while still being a double barrel.Comment

I think you're right that this might be chop friendly, if you lean into the trigger too much.....but if this thing could chug along at a leisurely 5 balls per second without chopping, the victim would be experiencing the hailstorm of 10 balls per second, wouldn't they!Originally posted by gabe View Post

So this gun was commissioned by one of my friends, who has an excellent and expensive taste for weird paintball guns. I remember when he first got it, and brought it out to a scenario. He usually ran it with a small CO2 tank and a cram n' jam feed. I got to shoot it once, and was pleasantly surprised how well it fed and shot, and we had some small paint that day.
I agree with the idea that ROF is pretty limited, but who cares? that's not why you got it. Very cool and unique piece.Comment

I would say yes - this one was built on a Typhoon "chassis", it has the mounting spot for a conventional gripframe. If I remember the marking methods correctly this one appears to have.685 barrels (2 rings machined into the end of the barrel).Originally posted by Meleager7 View Post
