I was able to pull the piece out. It wasn't held in by any oring, gunk, or slipped spring but it was a pain to remove.

Now back to the 3way. I rebuilt it but its not smooth at all somehow.

The 3 ways a super finiky ...
If you feel"step" inside, it's your o-ring are too big ...
I usually have to play around with o-ring sizes and brand/manufacturer/material to get it nice and smooth.

Yea I'd say it feels like a step. Using the orings from a Palmer kit.

I would source other orings and try again.
ive had pretty bad luck using pps rebuild kit in the past ...

Speaking of, I ordered two 1K blazer kits and they came with 4 random orings that I think are for 2k blazers and zero valve orings. I bought the full kit thats supposed to come with new cups/stem and they didn't send me the cups or stem :-/

There was a great thread on the old MCB about Stroker/Typhoon 3ways - basically, if your brass semi has a brass 3way, it's actually an old WGP unit, PPS used to buy them from Bud and use them in their guns until quality started slipping and the decision to use a Blazer 3way in an external form was made.

So like Xemon said you may need to play with seals - I have gone through multiple 003 orings before I found two that felt ok in those 3ways.

Or get a modern Quikswitch 3way and call it done.
