What tools are required for servicing Palmers (PPS) guns? I have never taken any Sheridan apart. For reference, I have PGP, Stroker, Typhoon, and a Houndstooth that all need service. I have guns with SNs under and over the magical P500 number. This has been a "when I get to it" project so I ordered parts several years ago.
SOMEWHERE I have a Sheridan tool, but will most likely need to acquire another one.
I have a Harbor Freight heat gun. Will this suffice or is a propane torch recommended?
I havemechanic sized standard and metric wrench sets. I may have to purchase smaller if needed.
What other tools should be at hand?
What references do you recommend, either here, YouTube or elsewhere?
Are there any Sheridan/PPS experts near Manhattan, Kansas? I think the closest maybe in KC.
Thanks
