    PS180

been hunting for a Stocker for years.
Hellion360 commented in a recent (months ago
at this point) thread that he had one he'd be willing to separate with and i had to go for it.

my plan was to set the stocker up with a KFrame, just like my heroes, Jonnydread and BLachance75 😁 (and Mr.Sergison himself)

thankfully, Dan had an aluminum unit in stock and i didn't have to wait long. was a nice learning lesson to find out the stockers have their own, specifically sized kframes. id only had experience with the pgp length, the stockers are slightly longer. funny enough, the frame showed up Saturday night of Stockstravaganza '26, i was able to throw it together and shot it all day Sunday! heres a nice one of me cooking lunch for the gang, stirring the pot as usual

i was having some very slight feeding issues with the flat, Palmers feed plug. not double feeds but every now and then, id have a jam from pumping faster than things could line up. The feedplug on my stocker was thicker than most of the sizes i had laying around. I was initially planning to have G&H turn me a "parabolic"/ramped plug but ended up finding a
super cheap spyder clone with a powerfeed plug that fit perfectly!

The last upgrade i ruined the pristine, virgin, nickle plated brass goodness with was a detent. paint around here is just too small no matter what brand or grade i tried. i followed my usual method for modifying my other sheridans: spyder style nubbin and cover, with the nubbin hole slotted so the detent can fold out of the way when a ball passes over it. This time was slightly different as the spring + feed..... "bead" wouldve clashed with the full sized cover. I chopped one of the mounting holes off and rounded the edges to make it fit. works great and in my opinion, looks pretty good on there too!

im SUPER STOKED on the SUPER STOCKER
it just feels great in the hands and with the small changes ive made, she performs flawlessly.
looking forward to slinging this one at the next Slim's game! See ya there!

All scratch built palmer guns have KP length lower tubes with the longer trigger frame hole spacing.

Hounds and variants and typhoons and variants.

That's a cool rare gun. I wish I liked shooting offset SC

i learned like i do all my lessons THE HARD WAY
its definitely something completely different feeling than anything else ive ever handled.
i get stoked on pieces with a steep learning curve.
been putting in a ton of seat time and the mods here and there have me close.
for whatever reason, ive always been partial to offset feed and heavier gats
this one just feels too nice to not put in the work on
if we ever cross paths in person, i hope you take it for a spin

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. Beautiful marker. It was a pleasure to get it to that next level.
