    Traccer noob

I've been playing pb for some time now but this is the first time I've owned a trracer , try not to judge too much.

    Manufacturer: PMI
    Serial: 051493

This thing shoots very weak on a SHP Ninja HPA tank and I don't have the adjustable bolt version, not that I can tell. Do I just need to go with CO2 or is there another way of boosting FPS?

Was shooting 190ish across the chrono, 1100 PSI tank.

In a trracer you can change the springs. A heavier hammer spring and/or a lighter valve spring will raise the the velocity. Finding springs these days is the problem but there are spring kits to be had. They don't have to be trracer specific so any Nelson kit might work for you.

Also, since you are now a trracer owner, welcome to the club. You should know the spelling is very important, two r's is the way.
"but we all have electros and you guys only have pumps, this wont be fair"

    (chuckling quietly) "we know"

Oh yes... I did do that. Thanks for the tips though, much appreciated.

I would personally just use CO2. You get 1000 shots from a 9oz tank.

That is kind of what I'm figuring too, I don't want to go on a spring hunt.

Also, if you keep it stock and get bored with it, the next guy won’t have to go on another spring hunt to get it working with whatever HPA he has. CO2 is CO2.

I tried it with my handy ICD lever changer and to my surprise velocity wasn't much better, the highest I got was around 232 and then back down to 190ish. Pretty consistent though.

So it looks like I'm on a spring hunt anyway.

I found a new bolt spring on the JT website and I also ordered a CCI spring kit. I read that one of those might work but can't say for sure until I test it.

Just in case you didn't realize, the JT website spring is for the "newer" Empire Trracer. Might still work for you . But, it is not OEM PMI parts.

Correct, but good to note for others that hit this thread. Worth a shot I figure.

You can use a cocker spring kit too. The valve spring is a little snug but still works good. Just trim them to the right length and you are good to go.

I got a Tagmaster for free basically. Went to pick up some Uber OG rare agg JT masks off local classifieds for a steal and she hands me a Tagmaster and two Brass Eagle Raptors!

Anyways, now I am thinking about keeping the Tagmaster. Adjustable bolt? Able to Freak bore the barrel? I've read that Trracer barrels are too thin to bore.
Also can the stock grip be used with a Lonestar adapter for bottomline?

Yes, you can use a bottom line mount with the stock grip.
    Working...
