Reducing the sound/report of the pump.

Any advice on quieting down an Autococker pump? I have never really worried about it, but I would like to see if I can quiet mine down. Thx in advance.

The most obvious answer is barrel. A decent ported barrel will make a huge difference.

What Autococker are you using? If it is an 11/16th valve the Morpheus valve helped my cocker quiet down significantly. I should mention that the Morph valve is highly polarizing. Mine works great with the ID universal hammer, but the Delrin hammer for it gave me tons of issues. If it is not 11/16th you could try a low pressure valve (I don't have experience with those, so see if others with them can vouch of them)

You could also go with a raincover if they are allowed at your field. I find they only work well on unported barrels.

I have the Techt Hush bolt in one of my Snipers and I don't notice a difference at all in sound. A good bolt can make a difference since you can lower your pressure a bit if it has good air flow.

I use ANS Venturi bolts in my cocker pumps and I have noticed a reduction in sound volume with them. I have found that the combination of CCM lowers, ANS bolt and a well-ported barrel makes for a fairly quiet gun. CO2 is also markedly more quiet than HPA, but I know bulk CO2 is hard to find these days.

Get a set of CCM springs and sweet spot the reg. Make sure your getting a tight fit on the barrel bore use a barrel with good porting and 12” -14” ish. I like Dye barrels without getting into the harder to find stuff. .681 if your going with one barrel back that dose it all.

Don't hold your pump when firing changes the sound signature to more of a "thump" then a "Pop".

Nothing off the top of my head... I have a Taso bolt in mine, but any venturi type should work.

I like the Belsales SuperCharger bolt for my Sniper II though any quality venturi style bolt does the same. The Belsales bolt just is a plain nicely manufactured.
