    Rebline Knowledge Base

Adding information grabbed from the wayback machine. I have a passion for these guns so starting here first. Add photos and info as you find them!

    Gen 1 Reb Line Guns:
    115N = 11.5 in. barrel
    145N = 14.5 in. barrel

"N" denotes setup for Nelson paint

    Gen 2 Reb Line Guns
    Rebline MII

Barrels came in 4 different lengths

    Semi Auto
    Trojan Autococker aka MIII

The Rebline barrels are all around .682 to .684 allowing no space between barrel and the ball.
The stepped barrel front was made that way to accommodate both Nelson and Sheridan style silencers

    (hard-anodized colors)
    Black
    Reb Grey

    (soft-anodized colors)
    Forest Green
    Deep Purple
    Royal Blue
Troy Gold (to mach the troy gold brass)
    Burgundy Wine (not red)

4 Different air pattern bolt heads
    Inverted volcano (stock)
    Tornado
    Hurricane
    Twister

The fit and finish compares exactly on par with many of my lapcos and definitely the same category as some of my bushmaster (much better than the later ICD bushys).

When examining the exterior of the rebline guns many of the small details can be missed. They came with a large variety of options for the interior and the exterior although some of these options may have only been available on some of the very high end guns and others are just for aesthetics.
    *Barrel Options (Lengths Galore)
    *Bore Options
*Color Options (Large Variety of Colors)
*Bolt Diffusing Options for front bolt half(Several Different Styles from Ventri to standard hole that can be unscewed and added to the bolt)
*Actual Bolt Length Options depending on what front barrel
    *Asa Options
    *Hammer Option (Brass or Steel)
*Trigger Options (Aluminum colors or Brass as pictured on the gun above)

As for the quick release pump arms I believe they are meant to be used when disassembling the quick release front half of the body for cleaning so that the pump arm screws don't need to be removed which could lead to the bolt coming out when pulling it apart on the field.

    From ChefDave:

I could be wrong but I also think that the body/barrel are Type III anno. The barrel is also convertible from RF to LF.

If you look near the top of the feed neck, you'll notice two little holes. They are threaded! In a time when feeder elbows were normally held in place with electrical tape, the guys at CASL used a screw! Drill a little hole in your elbow, put it on the neck, put the screw in place, and WHAMO! no more lost hoppers!

        Ironnerd88:

I used the spare barrel fitting holes to mount an anti-double-feed device.

Also, the REB's ASA has TWO air passages rather than the standard single passage.

Gilly posting about the Trojan Autococker

Steve Buzick called this his "Trojan Autococker". He was inspired by some of Bud Orr's earliest autocockers about 1990/1991 and the mechanics that recocked the bolt.
His idea was cater to the neslpot pump owners so they wouldn't have to purchase a whole other marker.
He had is factory/CNC machine shop, Confederate Army Supply, in Canoga Park California.
He also made his 11.5 and 14 inch model Rebline markers.
Those who grew up shooting a Nespot based marker will recognize some innovative features he incorporated in his products.
          Things such as:
A quick-disconnect pump/arm assembly. One only had to click two little levers to remove the entire assembly.
A tapered tight bore barrel that came off with one bolt hand tightened.
          An adjustabe sightrail.
An adjustable pin for the valve-pin inside the ASA.
And get this, interchangeable multi-patterned delrin bolts...neat.

          Little known fact:
          Steve also ran a field.
His field "Southern Comfort" was THE OLDEST FIELD in LA County circa 1985.
It was located on Baily Road behind the Lopez Canyon landfill in Sylmar California bordering the Angeles National Forest.
A big fan of the South, his home team was aptly named "Stars and Bars".

From Dale's For Sale Reb Line, which I personally now own:

This was made in 1990 (the 1989 models had Nelson grip frames on them) and is in great shape for being 31 years old! No leaks, no rust, pumps smooth and fires. It doesn't fire hard so you might have to re-spring it fyi. I miked it and bore appears to be .688ish. Some of the amazing features this had for the time were:

Quick change pump with snap on/off pump arms.
Longer pump for easier gripping of big hands or with gloves
Adjustable rear sight rail (up and down)
Tapered Bore drop, honed both feedneck and barrel
No friction double O-ring (tip & shoulder) brass bolt and hammer
Lock down screw on feedneck for feed tube or elbow
              Hard anodized for durability

Questions I have on these are the differences between the 115N, 145N, and MII... I believe I have it figured out, but this is only deduction and not verified so may be corrected/adjusted in the future

***Interesting side note, in the original APG article this is a mention of an "R" designation. The "N" was for Nelson paint and the "R" was for R.P. Scherer paint. I have never seen an "R", so can not confirm if any were actually made yet.***

Now the 145 number seems obvious, and when measured the barrel is 15 inches long in total with 14.5 inches being the center of the direct feed. But I've only ever seen two numbers: 115 and 145 - So this are the Gen 1 version of the Rebline - as seen in the ad a few posts above about "5 Industry Firsts in Two Fine Reb Line Models"

The MII versions (Gen 2 I can only assume) I have in sizes ranging from 11.5 as my smallest and 17.5 as my largest. Advertisement photos show a snub nose version, and I do not own one so can't comment on the size.

These are hard to read, but show the Gen 1 version of the Reb Line. I will find the APG with this and get clear scans of them when I can.

                          Random thoughts:

I wonder when they started anodizing the grip frames to match? None of the ads show it, nothing speaks to it, but we clearly have quite a few of the MII versions that have the anodized frames that match. Recently picked up a Silver MII and it is the only one I own that has a non-original nelson frame and doesn't match the color. (black frame, silver (really it's a gray) highlights).

Posted in the first post, but will put here also. The advertisements speak of a tighter bore "R" version, but I haven't seen one, so if anyone has some photos of that version that would be a huge help.
