Pump Return Spring Weight

I've just installed the Drift pump kit on my '97 P-block. The pump arm length is perfect. However, the return spring could be 3/8" longer. If I point the barrel up, the back block drops down 3/8". I'm looking for the spring weight/size so I can source a spring that is 3/8" longer.

You can just put something in the pump handle to take up the extra room. Cut a wood dowel or something.

Go to your local hardware store with the current spring and look for one with a similar diameter & tension but longer length.

I've seen someone use a cut chunk of macro to make up for the space

Nope all CCM do what you are describing if not more. You need to shim the spring or get a longer one.

I’ve used this spring before and it might fit your needs. I never tried it on the inception drift kit but it is a bit stiffer and longer than the CCM spring.

That should do the trick it’s longer and thicker so it’s going to give you more return pressure.
