My wife hates the sound of dry firing, hell she hates the sound of paintball in general. After I clean my gear for the week and do the clack test I have to very gently disengage the sear or I get yelled at.

i tell the wife before i start i'm doing a leakdown test of a new build. she goes shopping lol. after about an hour it's quiet again.

when i used to build my own guitar effects i got yelled at a lot.

Nope this is a tec house. She knows what she got herself into and embraces/ leans into it. Only when I’m dry firing in the basement late at night will I get the “Really it’s 1am” “I got paintball in the morning and I want to make sure it works babe”. The dog on the other hand sees the paintball closet open and is like “NOPE I’m out” he dose not like loud noises.
