So whats the story on this? From what I understand it was one of the first anodized markers that wasn't just black like normal?

These are great and just damn hard to come by in good condition. Don't let the vultures take it.
NSG tried the camo pattern but they just came out more brown. I think this was one of the more successful ones to be done, but not many sold in my opinion as you rarely see themI am the admin...

This was the first gun I ever *really* wanted. Black was easy to find but this one…Distribution wasn’t great back in the day and there was no public internet so I simply couldn’t find one and settled for a Trracer at the local shop. I still have the Trracer but I sure would like one of these. PM if you are selling, please.
I remember one selling here a few years ago for like $250 or whatever. Haven’t seen it since. I don’t remember what condition that one was in either.
I don’t know about it being a “first factory non-black anodizing” or anything like that. Back in the day I just liked camouflage so I liked it. There were colored Tasos, also later colored Trracers and also the Rebline and or course Carter. Products like the Maglite really popularized multicolored anodized aluminum many years before.
BTW there should have been a matching 7oz tank.

When I first got into paintball around 2001, a few friends did too including the younger neighbor kid across the street. I was into it, so he had to be as well lol. A nearby neighbor was having a garage sale and had one of these. I think neighbor kid got it first but then my good buddy ended up with it. We were all fighting over it and I wish I could remember what happened to that thing. Only one I've seen in person.
