    Puncture seal for dropout changer

Hey guys, I got a good deal on a dropout 12 gram changer at ANS gear, but it came without a puncture seal. I had an extra o-ring type puncture seal laying around so I out that in, but it comes out whenever you change the 12 gram, which defeats the purpose of the dropout. Any ideas? My phantom bucket changer has a metal piece to retain the seal and also has a flat style seal. May I could get a flat seal to fit and glue it in place or something? Does anyone have a retainer suggestion to hold the seal in place?

I have the same changer. Mine worked ok without a seal at all, and was fine for testing/proof of concept with an 006 oring (granted they don't stay in place well, and didn't hold up for many 12ies). I just tried a PGP Junkies seal and it does fit very nicely. That's probably your best choice.

Also I'd suggest a bit of blue Loctite to keep the ASA end attached to the main body. Mine would unscrew itself quite easily. Fun side fact: all the threads on this changer are standard ASA.

Very interesting using it without a seal! Didn’t occur to me to try it. The pgp seal stays in there without any glue or anything?
