Freak boring a taso vindicator barrel

Anyone ever done one? I think I have enough meat to do it. id .689, and od is .82. hoping for a bit more shot consistency and efficiency. Stopping barrels rollouts would be nice too lol. My widgets only last a game or two before I either lose them cleaning a barrel or they just fall apart. I've had this taso forever so I don't mind putting some money into it. Might even have it annoed

I've done my Spartan and stock gun barrels. Best thing I've done for them!

Widget ended up on my swab. I have a spartan that was freak bored, and I had a Freak back for the Shocker (old threads) that I had re threaded for the Taso. I believe a cocker back would also work. someone on here did the re-thread, I'll try and find out who, it was years ago

No luck on finding someone to freak bore yet. Staunchy is doing production work. BMC is gone, mozak isn't doing them, boss paintball was listed as doing them but unless it's a super secret handshake thing they arent doing them either.

Yep, just figured that out. OD on the barrel breech is almost identical to the insert OD. Guess it's nail polish or slotting the barrel for an oring.

I reached out to Angry Antle via farcebook. He said he has a guy that will bore barrels for $45 + shipping.

Good news. Bmc is back doing freak boring. Just got a message from him today. I will be sending out a few barrels once games slow down, probably end of November.

Well I'm back looking for machinist. Bmc has gone missing again. I had talked to him, boxed up a couple guns and barrels and a few other things and never heard from him again. Emails and messages go unanswered. Sigh.

There's a machining out of (Strawberry Plains) Knoxville that does freak boring. I haven't personally used him but some of my teammates have.

Bmc contacted me this morning so I'm going to send him the parts and see how it goes.

Got the barrel back I went a different route and had a random .685 barrel rethreaded for the vindicator. Came out nice. I think it's the best solution for the gun. Freak boring it seemed like over kill.
I did have him freak bore an evil pipe kit I had lying around. Came out fantastic.
Turn around was about 2 weeks.
