    “Bolt-actioning” a PGP

    Hey all,

Looking to add a bolt handle to my PGP bolt to make it bolt action.

Was curious if anyone had some elegant solutions for something like this.

    Any thoughts?

so you're looking to convert a PGP back to a PG basically?

I would think you could do something with the pump arm hole in the bolt to attach a larger... bolt? to attach the bolt handle to the bolt...

too many bolts in my sentence but hopefully it makes sense

1: get a bolt handle from your favorite gun supplier
2: thread the bolt hole (the one the pump rod fit in) for said handle
      3: bolt said handle
      4: ho shoot 😁👍

Let us know if you need an example of generic "bolt handle'

Simple as I thought. Thanks, all. I'll post up some pics when it's done.

The LB uses a centerfire speed demon bolt so for that you would have to move the cocking lug as well. I don't know if there is enough material on the bolt to do this.

It is possible to make this on a speed demon bolt will post some picture when I dig my KP from the bin, the set screw hole that activate the hammer need to be redrilled. Would not be needed for a PGP bolt

You need to place the handle at the rest position and have the set screw rest on the knotch of the top tube

Here are some picture I have for now

I've done it with an old knurled cocking rod from a cocker. Same interior threads IIRC.
