    Papa Smurf - circa 2015

I added the PE feedneck, DoomSmurf up front, and changed the 13ci back bottle to the AGD flatline/ICD lever changer. The wood is light and the pointability is perfect for me.

Features a 0.680 Stainless barrel liner, RVA, bolt removal slot, and brass inlays. The brass is a little dulled from stock oil and general patina. Lots of pics since we don't have the original build thread.

I realized Papa Smurf had some sun fade as well, but that was easy to fix.

Not a very flattering pic, but this is the initial Papa Smurf stock which had battle grips (those are on my Piranha LB).

Axel, yes it was. It started with Walz fixing a buddy's marker and powder coating it metallic blue. Someone named it Papa Smurf. Then the friend gave it back to Walz, and he used it to try brass inlay. Iirc, it was around 10-11 feet of brass inlay. Someone else donated a 13ci HPA bottle for it; I can't remember who. Walz gave it away to moving_target who eventually made a charity raiser with it. The Smurf stops here.

She originally came with a matching grip frame and T stock for pistol play...

And she looks amazing good after all these years...
I'm impressed with your upkeep my friend...

WALZ, I believe I still have the blue frame and t-stock. It pales in comparison to the wood, and once I got everything setup I didn't want to mess up the perfect balance. When I discovered I could shoot Papa Smurf left/off handed, I stopped tinkering. Found it.

I've changed the pump handle on both of those ...
The rifle gor the battle handle and the pistol got a chopped full handle, so it's now a few inches longer and much more ergonomic ...

This rifle is awesome with a 9cui tank ... Light and point so well ... My favorite shooter!

Heres a few pics of My WALZ build.

I gave him some hints as to what I liked, but I really wanted to let him freelance build my marker, so i tried to leave it open ended. I told him I really just wanted a piece of art that I could use.

I got a P Series lower side tapped for CA. with an extension tube on the front tube. Custom K series trigger assembly, and a beautiful pirate stock that fits my hands like WALZ weirdly just knew how my hands sized up.

      13.5" .684 Titanium barrel.

Full length top feed tube with parabolic feed ramp. Holds 21 rounds. one of my favorite features is the fact that paint locks in there to a degree. All photos have a single round in the tube. I was able to keep that last round perched on my bolt even when pointed down. It should make for better use of those last rounds that are slow to get down the tube.

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Lip...w?usp=drivesdk

Follow the above link for a video showing that "detent" action mentioned above. I have since added the lasered lama logo, cooper T pump handle, and the tether to the feed plug.

Beautiful! I was thinking about a setup like this after watching the Olympic biathlon shooting. That little bolt action they use with their forefinger and thumb is neat. I think this is about as close as a Sheridan gets.

I was grateful for Walz bringing the stainless to Sheridans. I was/am an Automaggot, and I love my stainless. Brass is good too, but there was room for other metal on Sheridans. I also love this ASA "rail". IIRC, it is a piece of CO2 bottle?

I honestly thought Rtp was the only one who did stainless sheridans in the day. I love my rtp viper.
