P68SC Next Steps?

I bought a P68SC recently that I knew would be a project. When I received it it had a 12 gram stuck in it and after I pulled it apart it looks like it had been thread repaired some how, which failed and jammed that 12 gram in there. The 12gram was pierced and was stuck with the part shown kind of cross threaded into the front frame screw. What would the experts suggest might be next steps here?

It’s possible that nutsert was replaced. If it’s too long the 12gram will bind on it. You may need to grind it off and install a new one that’s the proper size

The nutserts that I use, I have to cut them down slightly so they dont catch the 12g. If you would like me to fix it, send me a PM
