The oring goes on the valve - cupseal side - and seals against the chamber sleeve. I suspect the oring may be inside still along with the sleeve (unless CA guns don't have the sleeves), which is a short brass tube that goes inside the valve core.

The oring was inside still. I couldn’t see it until I dislodged it trying to put the new one in with the valve. Also I managed to make a banjo screw with a 20v drill and a vice. Had to trim the 3/4 screw down to the right length with my minibandsaw and cleaned it up with a file. Went slow with some wd40 and it looks like it should work. Hole is same size as original, I just drill mine all the way through the side.
Banjo orings are 008. Replaced those with buna for now. Tried a lighter valve spring and a uncut main spring but it appears to be leaking down the barrel. I’ve got the cocker valve stem in there right now. Probably need to swap back to the stock valve spring as it seems current springs are holding the valve open.

I must say disassembly on these ATs is a bit of a pain. Really the hardest part is getting the grip frame screws lined back up going into the body. This time around I only loosened the front one as it is the main culprit. I was able to remove the rear screw and get the valve out. Put the original valve spring back in and i can’t hear any leaks anywhere. Gonna have to wait until after work tomorrow to try chronoing or try a stronger main spring as it is now dark outside.Comment

Update, I aired it up on a 12g last night, dry fired a couple shots and left it aired up until this afternoon. Took it outside and first shot was 331fps. Couple more able 300fps, then quickly down to 290,280, then a number in the 260ish range. However it was quite a bit cooler outside and I was shooting every few seconds. This is with the original valve spring and uncut main spring. So it might be good on a ca tank and the female stabilizer, or I’ll try a few of the other springs i have to further increase velocity and then reg it down.
Going to check the hard ware store tomorrow, to see what metal stock might be available for a possible home brew stock or UMB.Comment

So it held the rest of the 12g for several days. I’ve mostly sourced metal to make a UMB, just need to get a drill press.Comment
