VM68 Expansion Chamber ID

VM68 was my first marker many years ago at 15 years old. Just picked this up at a goodwill auction in surprisingly good shape. Does anyone have any info on the brand of expansion chamber on this? Much appreciated!

Almost certainly custom built- and, unless I'm missing something, maybe even built in place, since I'm not sure that thing's actually removable.

The only way I can see it being removable, is if that pipe assembly over the EC is pipe threaded at some point, and the last elbow or two can be unscrewed. It's pretty neatly done, either way.

Ah, I see how it's put together. Looks like the guy screwed together some brass fittings, soldered them (as a sort of 'body filler') and then ground them smooth. (Sort of. )

Looks like to undo it, you unscrew the brakeline-elbow closest to the body, then you can either unscrew the EC altogether, or that hardline from the EC.

Neat piece of homebrew work.

Dang, that's dope! I too had a VM-68 as my first gun at 15, although mine was a rode-hard-and-put-away-wet used one with a sketchy bottom-line run. That one looks quite clean, and I'm digging the homebrew expansion chamber.

In all, a great find!
