Shocktech Impulse

So, I happened to see a post on reddit (pure chance since I really try to avoid that cesspool!) with a guy showing off his old shocktech impulse. I reached out and he was super nice and open to parting with it and we came up with what I think is a pretty fair price considering it's of unknown working condition. He did test it with a battery and it turns on and clicks so there is that. Got that sweet matching Rhino Cover (hopefully pre creepy Dave!), Freak and Halo as well. Should have it in my hands next week

That said, I really can't find much info on these. I always loved Shocktech stuff back in the day and had a ST Bushy in this same anno that I always regret giving up but when I search around I just don't see much. Based on the video he sent it seems to have a cricket board and I kind of get the feeling that beyond the obvious lpr/bolt/feedneck it might be pretty stock Impulse stuff? Was there a shocktech ram or valve? Custom board or other goodies to expect?

I'm not super concerned, I just thought it would be a cool piece to rebuild and play with and the price was right but any info/advice is always appreciated.

Yeah, I basically saw the same sentiment a while back when someone mentioned them. If you Google them a couple of sales come up from a long time ago and there is a brief mention of them on a list of all PLs on ZDSPB.com but that's about it. I assume not many were made... Maybe it was late in the impulse lifecycle or they just weren't popular? No clue honestly...
