    First we’ll remove the bolt. Just a press on the bottom on the back of the marker and the bolt assembly slides smoothly out.

    Pressing the button:

        Going back to the body now, I removed the two trigger frame screws. I did not fully separate the frame though as you need to remove the wiring harness on the board, which is a bit annoying, and I didn’t want to damage Jimmy’s pretty pink paint plinker.

        Popping the wires was doable, but annoying due to board placement and not the most friendly. The wires are fairly short as well, so not like many of the mid-2000 electros though often had longer wiring, at least allowing the trigger frame to have some separation, much more than the Shocker.

          And finally, let’s check out the eye covers and ball detents:

          The ball detents were quite surprising to me. They are hinged “fingers” built into the eye cover. A bit hard to get a decent photo of;

            She done me dirty! Airs up , no leaks. First shot is great then it craps the bend and stuffs balls down the barrel. Switch to bigger insert I can blow through, no change. Does it with Rotor and hand feeding. Will adjust the bolt speed and see if that helps.

            RSX is definitely light! Only thing it’s missing is a couple grip screws, but this tips the scale at 1 pound 11 ounces with a barrel and battery.

                Looks like my bolt speed was set way too low. I adjusted the screw I the trigger frame towards the front of the trigger guard. Clockwise reduces speed, counter-clockwise increases speed. I backed it all the way out and looks to shoot nicely now.

                  Does anyone know if the RSX bolt is compatible with XLS? I know the can is different.

                    Two things to note:
                    1) apparently the blue can has been recalled and there is a gold can replacement.
                    2) shooting video: https://www.reddit.com/r/paintball/s/oGwytB66EZ
